How bad have you got it?

Kason has decided to spend about 90% of his time as a race car.  So this is just a small sample of Kason driving his race car, complete with wreckouts and waving the green flag.  The race had come on so he was in full force.  Now, keep in mind, he had been doing this for awhile before I shot this and then it continued for a long time afterward.  His favorite number is 2 and his favorite color is yellow so it works out that his favorite driver is the yellow 22 Penzoil car, Kurt Busch.

What a busy day!  This morning I went in to get Rachel out of bed and she had set herself up for the first time.  Then this afternoon, she was crawling around in the floor, made her way over to my stool and started standing up by herself.  Momma nearly gave Daddy a heartache yelling at him to come look.

In the words of Dora..."She did it! She did it! She did it, YEA!"

Rachel finally figured out what to do with her hands.  She's going to be on the prowl now, LOOK OUT!  She was 8 months old yesterday.





Snow days are fun ...

but everyone is ready for life to get back to normal.  Momma and Daddy can only entertain for so long. 
 

You mean I have to put all this on to go outside...for what?

Almost nearly....

but not quite hardly.  Rachel has figured out a way to move forward, but it's not exactly crawling.  She gets up on her hands and knees and rocks.  She pulls her knees up under her, but can't figure out what to do with her hands.  Once she gets those moving, she'll be gone!

Rachel quickly, or quicker than Kason, out grew her baby tub so she graduated to the big tub.  She enjoys it because she has more water to splash around.  She is like her brother and greatly enjoys her bath.

Finger paints!!!

Kason got finger paints from Gamma for Christmas so we had to try them out!  As you can see by Kason's face, he isn't real fond of his hands having stuff on them.
