Christmas morning...Santa was GOOD!

Kason needed lots of coaxing to get him out of his room to come see what Santa brought him.  He thought since it wasn't in his room, he didn't get anything.  He also had his new toys in his room from other Christmases that  he just wanted to play with them.  But when he did come out, he liked what he saw.

Rachel has started rolling everywhere!  She loves when Kason plays with her.  Here are a couple of videos of them playing with each other.  It melts my heart to see them interacting!



Christmas cookies

This project started out as Momma wanting to make cookies with her son.  It quickly became her son making cookies with his momma.  He really loved the whole process.  We made them from scratch, rolled them out, cut them with cookie cutters and then painted them and topped with sprinkles.  This was done over several days.  Of course, we had to leave some out for Santa to enjoy as well!

Rachel is 6 months old

Rachel went for her six month checkup today.  She is growing and developing right on track.  She weighs 16 lbs 11 oz and is 25 1/4 in long.

Rachel's first solids

Rachel got her first go at "solid" food.  It was so runny, I'm not sure it counts as solid, but it was with a spoon and bowl.  She is still having trouble sleeping through the night because she's getting hungry so we're trying something new.

Halloween

Kason went Trick or Treating for the first time this year.  He had fun and is loving his candy even more!

Sibling Love

Seagoville Carnival

There was a carnival in Seagoville close to Grammy and Granddad's house.  Kason got to go ride the rides.  He loved every minute of it!

Our trip to the zoo

Cousin Addison had her birthday party at the Abilene Zoo.  We got to touch a few of the animals during a demonstration, then we got to go through the zoo.

Rachel is 2 months old. At my two month check up today, I weighed 13 lbs 6 oz and was 24 1/4 in long.
